Whisky

Whisky is a sweet, red and white smooth-coated boy who was likely abandoned by a breeder. He was very shy and shut down when he first arrived in his foster home, but he has blossomed beautifully over the past four months. Whisky now walks very well on a leash, is crate trained, and is house trained. He's still a bit shy when meeting new people, but he'll approach if you sit or lie down with him. His favorite morning game is "grab that mouth," and he loves to play and wrestle!

Whisky has learned many commands and happily jumps into the car for a ride. He has pretty good recall, loves being outdoors, and enjoys doing zoomies around the yard. He absolutely adores dogs of all kinds and loves to play chase. He's also good with baths and enjoys a good bully stick. Like many dogs with a rough start, Whisky is loving and intelligent, and with continued love and patience, he is growing into a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Whisky would do well in a home that understands he can be shy with strangers but is a loving and playful companion once he feels comfortable.

Whisky is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Whisky is crate trained, house trained, and walks well on a leash. He has good recall and knows many commands. Continued patience and positive reinforcement will help him continue to build confidence with new people.
