Mosby is a delightful Baja mutt, rescued as a stray from Ensenada, Mexico. We believe she's a shepherd/collie mix due to her charming looks and behavior. She's a healthy, fully vetted dog ready for her forever home. Mosby is a medium-sized girl, weighing around 40-55 pounds, and is likely between 10 to 18 months old. She's a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with men, women, and children. While she might offer a bark or two when meeting new people or on walks, it quickly turns into adoration once she receives some love. She also thrives with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and genders, often romping with them at home. Initial introductions might show a bit of dominance or hesitation, but she soon becomes great friends once she gets to know them. Mosby does best with dogs 20 pounds and up, as she can get a little rough during play.
Ideal Home
Mosby needs an active adopter who wants a furry companion for adventures, whether it's exploring the outdoors or playing fetch indoors. She loves having a job to do and lives for her toys! She doesn't need a yard and would be happy in an apartment as long as she gets regular exercise. Mosby needs a home without cats, rabbits, birds, or other small animals due to a potential prey drive.
Ongoing Health
Mosby is healthy and has been fully vetted.
Training & Support
Mosby is crate and house-trained and travels well in the car. She's not a vocal dog. We believe all dog owners should enroll in a training class unless they have prior professional training experience to ensure their new dog's success.
