Hunter

Hunter is a gorgeous yellow Lab mix, just under 4 years old, with soulful eyes and a big smile. He's a loyal, happy-go-lucky dog who loves to be by your side, whether it's for backyard play, lake trips, or just relaxing at home. Hunter has a wonderfully good-natured temperament and is eager to please, already having great habits in place. He is kennel trained, sleeps quietly, and keeps his kennel clean. Hunter enjoys the company of other dogs in his foster home. He's a big fan of toys and water, and walks nicely on a leash. Like a true Lab, Hunter is all in if there's swimming involved! He gets excited when meeting new people and may jump up to say hello, but it's pure enthusiasm. Hunter is smart and eager to learn, and will thrive with continued guidance and consistency.

Ideal Home

A home without very small children may be best due to his excited greetings. He enjoys canine companionship and is doing well with other dogs in his foster home. He hasn't been tested with cats and is not good with farm animals, especially chickens and ducks.

Ongoing Health

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Hunter does get excited when meeting new people and may jump up to say hello, but it’s pure enthusiasm, not bad intentions. He’s smart, eager to learn, and will thrive with continued guidance and consistency.

Transporation

Hunter is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out-of-town adopters, virtual meet-and-greets are available, and transport can be arranged to many states in the Northeast. Transport to the city on this listing is available and included in the adoption fee. We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.
