Sandy is a gentle and thoughtful dog who offers a quiet, peaceful presence. She's the kind of companion who settles in beautifully once given the chance to take things at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her calm demeanor is incredibly grounding. She's not busy or demanding; she simply "is," making a home feel softer just by her presence. Sandy's approach to love is slow and steady. She takes her time getting to know new people and prefers not to be rushed. She is not reactive or pushy, simply needing a little space initially to observe and understand her surroundings. When she does connect, it's with deep loyalty and warmth, forming intentional and real bonds. She may not be on your lap on day one, but she'll become your comforting shadow once she trusts you. Sandy is polite and respectful with other dogs and has been respectfully avoidant with cats, showing a non-threatening energy that felines seem to sense. Walks are a great way for her to build confidence and connect.
