Meet Spot, an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who is as enthusiastic about life as he is loving! He’s already neutered, fully vaccinated, and brimming with the joyful energy that makes every day an adventure. Spot is outgoing, curious, and playful, always ready for a new experience or a cozy cuddle session.

Ideal Home

Spot would thrive in an active home with opportunities for walks, hikes, and plenty of mental enrichment. A backyard would be a dream for him to run and play freely. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs his size or larger (40-90 lbs) and would enjoy a canine sibling with similar energy levels. He also lives peacefully with cats and would do well in a home with dog-savvy felines.

Spot is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Spot is a very good boy at home! He is fully housebroken and crate trained. While he is generally well-behaved when left to roam, he can be a bit of a toy hog during meal times, so he is fed separately. He is making progress with leash manners using a gentle leader, as he can get excited and pull when seeing other dogs, and he may jump when meeting new people out of pure excitement. An active family committed to ongoing training will help him continue to shine.

Transportation

Spot is currently located with his foster family. Transports run every few weeks and he will be scheduled on the next available transport once approved.
