Micaela

Micaela is a sweet, resilient Husky mix who has been through so much in her young life. At only about 2 years old, she arrived at the shelter with a fractured jaw, significant misalignment, and bleeding gums. Despite her pain, she was brave and gentle. Hoardin' Huskies stepped in to provide the urgent medical care she needed. She underwent a full dental cleaning and removal of damaged teeth to relieve her pain and infection. Micaela is also heartworm positive and has begun slow-kill treatment. Even through her healing, she shows a gentle spirit, leaning into touch and watching her caregivers with grateful eyes. She is learning that she is finally safe and loved, and is now ready for a forever home where she will never be overlooked, unheard, or in pain again.

Micaela is heartworm positive and has begun slow-kill treatment. She has had a full dental cleaning and removal of damaged teeth.

Training & Support

Micaela is slowly learning to trust and is beginning her healing journey. She will need a patient and loving home to help her continue to thrive.
