Meet Walnut, your big, round land tank! Slow moving but powerful, Walnut is a goofy boy with a squirrel-like personality that keeps everyone smiling. At almost 70 pounds of muscle and rolls, this squishy-faced guy is an absolute doll to be around – instant cuddles guaranteed. Walnut loves hanging out with other dogs and enjoys a good burst of playtime with his friends. Despite his tank-like build, he's just a big softie who wants to be close to his people and soak up all the love he can get. At just 4 years old, Walnut still has plenty of life, laughter, and loyalty to share with his future family. If you're looking for a big, lovable goofball with a heart as round as his belly, Walnut might just be your perfect match.

Ongoing Health
Walnut's adoption fee of $75 (for pick-up at our Angleton, TX location) includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Transportation
Walnut is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH. These are predetermined locations and times. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with financial responsibility on the adopted family. All animals travel in air-conditioned transport buses or vans equipped with onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will be able to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you!
