Athena

Athena is a delightful mix of adventure and affection! This sweet girl loves exploring the outdoors, keeping a keen eye out for interesting sights, but she's just as content to relax by your side, play with her favorite elephant toy, or nap nearby. She's a smart cookie who thrives on a good routine and is eager to please. Athena already knows "sit," is practicing her fetch skills (especially when peanut butter is involved!), and gets adorably excited for meal times, outdoor adventures, and all the little joys life offers. Ice chips, chicken treats, belly rubs, and bird watching are some of her absolute favorites. Athena is athletic, affectionate, and forms a deep bond with her people. She loves to stay close and offers comfort in ways that make her feel truly special. After bringing so much happiness to her foster family during a challenging time, it's clear Athena has a special gift – she doesn't just fill a home, she becomes an integral part of your heart. She was born in December 2025.

Ongoing Health

Athena is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. She will receive a health exam by a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption.

Training & Support

Athena is a smart and eager learner, already mastering "sit" and working on fetch. She's motivated by praise and treats, making training a rewarding experience.

• Our out-of-state adoption fee is $350 plus transport, which varies by location. This fee includes all vaccinations, deworming, microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter (if over 6 months), and a heartworm test (if over 6 months).
• Please note that adoptions are not first-come, first-served; our priority is finding the best home for each animal.

Transportation

Athena is currently fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. She is available for transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
