Lane - Urgent Foster/Adopter needed

Lane is an 8-month-old Carolina Dog mix weighing about 40 lbs, and he is pure sunshine in puppy form. His tail is always wagging, and he brings joy everywhere he goes. Lane has quite the story, but you’d never know it by watching him today. After overcoming early injuries, he has healed beautifully and is now able to live a completely normal, active, and pain-free life. He runs, plays, climbs stairs, and hops on the couch just like any other happy puppy. The only reminder of his journey is a slight bow-legged stance that just adds to his unique charm. Lane is a gentle, affectionate boy who loves everyone he meets. He’s wonderful with handling — including nail trims and being picked up — and truly enjoys being close to his people. He’s dog-friendly and would likely do well in a home with other pups. He could also live with cats, though his playful puppy energy may be a bit much for more reserved feline friends right now. Lane would make an amazing family dog and would do well with children who can match his playful but gentle nature.
