Meet Rowan, a tiny gentleman disguised as a dog! This handsome boy is estimated to be around 1.5 years old and weighs about 39 pounds, but he looks even smaller. He's a charming mix, possibly Lab and Pittie, with adorable floppy ears and the sweetest puppy-dog eyes. Rowan is a gentle, quiet, and sensitive soul who prefers to observe new people and environments from a distance before warming up. Earning his trust is a rewarding experience, and once he feels comfortable, he'll be your peaceful, polite companion. He's also been wonderful with other dogs, showing respect and easegoing manners.
Ideal Home
Rowan would thrive in a calm environment with patient people who understand that shy dogs need time to decompress and build trust. A home with a yard and a quieter atmosphere would be ideal, as busy apartment living might be overwhelming for him. While he hasn't been officially tested with children, older, calm kids would likely be the best fit. We can certainly conduct a kid-test for interested adopters.

Rowan is currently located in Texas. Wags offers USDA-certified transport nationwide with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
