Doc Ricketts

Meet Doc Ricketts, a 9-year-old, 13-pound Poodle mix with a soul as deep as his namesake, the brilliant marine biologist. Doc Ricketts was found as a stray, looking like he had known far too little kindness. Despite his past, he is a wonderfully social and accepting boy who loves people, dogs, and even cats, greeting everyone with quiet sweetness. He appears to be nearly blind and sometimes struggles with navigating his surroundings or stairs, but he truly enjoys exploring the outdoors on walks.

Doc Ricketts would thrive in a patient and compassionate home with someone who understands the needs of a visually impaired senior dog. He needs a family willing to help him navigate the world, keep him engaged, and remind him every day that he is loved.
