Meet John Dwayne, a handsome Doberman mix with an estimated birthday of June 7, 2023. This sweet boy weighs about 45 lbs. and has already overcome so much in his short life. Dwayne was found abandoned in a crate at a park, but thankfully, he's been given a second chance and is now ready to leave his past behind and find the loving family he truly deserves. Despite his tough start, Dwayne is an incredibly social and loving dog who adores other dogs. He enjoys playing with both puppies and adult dogs, and would be a fantastic addition to a home with a canine companion who likes having a buddy to play with. Dwayne is kennel trained, potty trained, and dog friendly, making him an easy and joyful addition for any family. He has a gentle, playful personality and is eagerly waiting to experience what it feels like to be safe, loved, and home for good.

Transporation
Dwayne is located in Houston, TX. Transport out of state is included in the adoption fee. Pickup locations for transported dogs may vary and can include nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport. Facebook chats are also available for tracking dogs on transport. Please be prepared to use one of these services to follow your adopted dog on transport.
