Dirk

I’m Dirk! I just flew up from NC with a volunteer pilot and I’m so excited to meet you! I’m a Lab mix and at one-year-old, I love to chew my toys. I’m going to be about 50 pounds most likely. People, other dogs, toys and snuggles are my favorite things. I’m learning to walk on a leash, sit and generally come when called. I haven’t met a cat yet so I don’t know how I feel about them, but I’m a very curious boy!

Ideal Home

Dirk loves people, other dogs, toys, and snuggles! He's great with kids and has shown he's good with other dogs. He hasn't met cats yet, so if you have a feline friend, we'll want to do some introductions to see how it goes.

Ongoing Health

Dirk is a healthy, young pup who is ready for his forever home!

Training & Support

Dirk is still learning his manners and is working on leash walking, sitting, and coming when called. He'll thrive in a home that can continue his positive reinforcement training.
