Mona

Mona is a gorgeous 2-year-old Mountain Cur mix who came to us with other dogs through no fault of their own. Her previous owner fell on hard times and wanted them to find new, loving homes. Mona is a sweet, smart, and active girl who is learning to be a real dog. She's an energetic goofball who is absolutely obsessed with stuffy toys! Mona is independent in a good way; she enjoys affection but also likes to do her own thing. She walks well on a leash and loves to sniff everything. During a restaurant outing, she was eager to greet people and other dogs but did a great job listening when asked to return and settle. We've promised Mona that the rest of her life will be the best of her life. Could that be with you?

Training & Support

Mona is learning to be a real dog and has done well with leash training and basic commands like "come" and "lay." She is still working on greeting people and other dogs appropriately.

Transportation

Mona is located in South Carolina. We transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
