Meet Ginger! This sweet soul has a heart full of love and a spirit full of resilience. Ginger's journey hasn't been easy; she was rescued from the streets of Houston with her puppies and bravely fought distemper, which temporarily affected her mobility. Thanks to her incredible foster, Ginger not only survived but regained her strength and agility. Now, over a year into her recovery, she's back to running and playing with the best of them! While she still has some residual tics, they don't slow her down one bit – she's all about fun and games with her furry friends. Ginger forms deep bonds with her people and loves to be by your side, offering quiet companionship. She especially adores having a canine buddy to play with and gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes. Her absolute favorite thing is a good game of chase! Ginger is a shy but utterly adorable and calm companion who will undoubtedly steal your heart. Her soft, silky coat is even more luxurious than her pictures show, and her gentle nature makes her incredibly easy to fall in love with. We are hoping for a family who will cherish her boundless love and give her the forever home she truly deserves. We welcome trial periods for interested families.
