We think our girl is a classic Pitbull mix! Wilma sports that iconic, adorable squishy girlie look complete with a velvety coat and those soulful eyes that we just can't get enough of. She's that just-right size for someone who wants a big-hearted dog without needing a giant SUV to transport her! Wilma is currently living the dream in a loving foster home and proving she is a total natural at being a pampered pet! She is a polite lady who is already crate trained and house-trained, making her transition into her forever home a total breeze. She has shown us that she is wonderful with kiddos, responding to them with a gentle hand and a wagging tail. She's the kind of girl who just wants to do the right thing; she just needs a patient person to show her the way (and maybe a few treats for her hard work!).

Wilma is looking for a home with a nice, secure yard where she can stretch her legs and sniff the grass in peace! Since she's a sensitive soul who is still perfecting her leash-walking, having her own private outdoor space will help her feel like the confident queen she is meant to be.

Wilma will thrive with a confident handler who can provide structure, consistency, and clear direction. She also seems to think cats are very small, funny-looking dogs that deserve a lot of her attention. We believe she is willing to share her kingdom with a kitty, but she will need a kitty sleepover as a trial run to ensure they can officially become the bestest of buds!

Transportation

Wilma is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
