Shadow is a handsome 5-year-old Shepherd mix who is looking for his perfect match! He's a ball-loving, energetic boy who thrives on activity and will happily play fetch with you for hours. His previous family invested a lot of time and training into him, and it really shows – he's a well-behaved and intelligent companion.

Ideal Home

Shadow needs an all-adult home with no children. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys doggy daycare, but he prefers to be the center of attention and would do best as the only dog or with one other canine companion. While he's great at meeting people in public, he is reactive to visitors in his home and protective of his space. He must be kenneled when guests are present. An active and dog-savvy owner who can provide consistent exercise and understand his body language is essential.

Shadow is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on a monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Shadow is well-trained but requires ongoing exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and well-adjusted. His reactivity to visitors in the home needs to be managed by ensuring he is kenneled when guests arrive.
