Meet Duke!

Duke is a delightful 1-year-old, 55-pound boy who’s the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection. He loves to explore the great outdoors, bask in the sunshine, and toss his favorite toys around. But when it's time to relax, he's just as happy to be a total cuddle bug with his favorite people. Duke has that easy-going country charm that makes him a joy to be around, and he also loves other dogs!

Duke was born with hip issues that required surgery. He's made a full recovery and now has a renewed zest for life, with a happy hop in his step and his true playful spirit shining through. He thoroughly enjoys chasing and wrestling with his canine foster siblings. We believe Duke is a large-breed mix, possibly with Retriever and Shepherd, giving him a beautiful golden coat and a sweet, loyal nature. He's full of love and curiosity and is ready to keep learning and growing with a family of his own.

Ideal Home

Duke would thrive in a home where he can enjoy both playtime and cuddle time. He loves other dogs and would likely do well in a home with canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Duke underwent surgery for hip issues. He has since fully recovered and is doing great!
