Chapo

Meet Chapo! Chapo is a happy, happy boy who is between 5 to 7 years old and weighs 11 pounds. He might be a little reserved at first, but once he warms up, he's a wonderful companion. Chapo loves to play with other dogs and is also good with cats. He has been great with the children who have visited his foster home. He walks well on a leash, though he'll need a little practice to make walks exciting. Chapo is crate trained and is proficient with potty pads as well as going outside.

Ideal Home

A home where Chapo can feel comfortable and confident. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has been good with cats and children.

Ongoing Health

Chapo has been treated for heartworms and had several teeth removed during a dental cleaning.

Training & Support

Chapo is crate trained and uses potty pads, as well as going outside. He will need some ongoing practice to make walks more exciting.

• The adoption fee is $525, which includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses.
• Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Chapo.

Transportation

Chapo is currently in the NJ/NY area. Transport can be arranged once an application is being processed and an adopter is interested. If Chapo is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, you will be put in touch with the foster home after your application is being processed.
