Bandit

Hi there! I’m Bandit, an 8-year-old Chi-weenie looking for a new partner-in-crime to help me start my next chapter. I've been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I'm up to date on my heartworm testing. I spent many wonderful years with my previous owner, but since they passed away, I’ve been waiting for a cozy couch to call my own again. I’ve got the classic low-rider body of a Dachshund and the big, "spicy" personality of a Chihuahua; while I’m a world-class snuggler who loves burrowing under blankets, I definitely have some opinions and will give you a little side-eye if you disturb my nap. I’m well past the stage of chewing up shoes and prefer a mellow life of sunbeams and short walks. I might be small, but I have the heart of a lion and a whole lot of loyalty to give to the right person. I might be named Bandit, but the only thing I’m really looking to steal is your heart—could you be the one to give me the second chance I've been waiting for?

Ideal Home

I’d do best in a quiet, adult-only home where my boundaries are respected, as I can be a bit sassy when I'm nervous, or when you don't pick me up correctly. I need someone patient that understands I really miss my human I had for so long and I spend time looking at the door wondering if they are coming back.

Ongoing Health

Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Up to date on heartworm testing.

Training & Support

I can be a bit sassy when I'm nervous or when you don't pick me up correctly. I'm sure with some time I'd learn to love you and understand you are my new home.
