Murphy

Meet Murphy! This handsome 3-year-old, 54lb German Shepherd/Husky mix came to us with his brother, Charlie, through no fault of their own. While this transition has been a big change for him, Murphy is slowly settling in and showing us what a wonderful companion he can be. He's a medium-energy boy who enjoys a good balance of activity and relaxation.

Ideal Home

Murphy can be shy when meeting new people and tends to take a little time to warm up to strangers. Around children, he prefers to keep his distance and may choose to hide when things get too busy, but he has never shown aggression. Because of his sensitive nature, Murphy would do best with a patient family that will allow him to build confidence at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Murphy is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Murphy is house trained and crate trained, making him a great candidate for a smooth transition into his new home. He has also lived successfully with cats and is reported to do well with feline friends.
