Bailey - SENIOR!!

Bailey is one chill dude! He's a big, gentle giant who loves to snuggle and sleep, preferably on a Cal King bed. While he enjoys a good long walk and is great on leash, his favorite activity seems to be being a "life-size snuggle bunny" by his human's side. Bailey came to us from the Stockton Shelter with a large mass on his spleen and an enlarged prostate. Thanks to generous donations, he received a splenectomy and neuter, and his tumor was benign! He's now in perfect health and ready to share his love.

Ideal Home

Bailey would love a home where he can be close to his people. He's not bothered by other dogs or cats. Due to a slight resource guarding tendency with human food and high-value treats, he should not be in the kitchen unsupervised.

Ongoing Health

Bailey is up-to-date on all medical care, including a splenectomy and neuter. He is likely deaf and his ears have been cleaned and treated, with plans for further examination to see if any additional care is needed.

Training & Support

Bailey may exhibit slight resource guarding with food and high-value treats. This is being managed by using a "trade up" method and not allowing him access to items he feels he needs to guard. We are continuing to work on this.
