JERSEY (Adorable Puppy, Fun, Loving, Affectionate, Playful, Loves Everybody)

Jersey is an adorable 3-month-old male Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who weighs 28 pounds and is expected to be a medium-sized dog. He has striking blue eyes, a gorgeous shiny coat, and a heart full of love. Jersey and his sister Jules had a rough start, being found abandoned near a busy highway, but they are now safe and ready to find their forever families. Jersey loves to romp, play, wrestle, and explore. Belly rubs are his favorite, and he soaks up all the attention he can get. He's learning to love toys, the comfort of indoors, and the joy of playing with other dogs. Most importantly, he's learning that people are kind and life doesn't have to be scary. He is a happy, social, and curious pup who is blossoming every day. Given his young age, he would likely adapt well to a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Jersey is microchipped, current on all vaccinations, and on Credelio for flea and tick prevention and Interceptor for heartworm prevention. He will have a full veterinarian examination to obtain a Health Certificate before he travels. He will be adopted with a neuter contract; the adopter will assume financial responsibility for the neuter when recommended by a vet, no later than one year of age.

Training & Support

Jersey is currently working on crate training and other essential puppy lessons. He is eager to learn and will thrive with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement to help him grow into an amazing family companion.
