Flower

Flower is a 1-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who is ready to find her forever home! She came to us as part of a large rescue from a hoarder situation and is still learning to trust. Flower was found to be covered in fleas, infested with worms, and clearly starved for attention. Now that she's safe and receiving care, she's blossoming into a sweet girl who craves affection and wants to please her people. Weighing around 10lbs, she's a small package with a big heart.

Ideal Home

Flower would thrive in a patient home that can help her gain confidence. She can be a little skittish with new people and has occasional submissive tinkles. She needs a securely fenced yard (no wireless or underground fences) and cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

Flower has received excellent care and is up-to-date on everything. She has been spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, treated for fleas and ticks, tested heartworm negative, and received a Proheart6 injection for prevention. She is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Flower is not yet house-trained and will need consistent guidance to learn. She does well with other dogs, but will need time to adjust to any new canine companions.

Flower is currently being fostered in Chickasha, OK. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
