Fred and Ned are two shy, sweet boys who came to us together, feeling scared and unsure. They found comfort in each other, forming a bond that helped them feel safe. Though they may not rush to the front of their kennel for attention, they quietly observe, hoping a kind soul will look past their initial fear and see their loving hearts. These two terriers are dreaming of a soft bed, gentle hands, and a family who understands that trust is earned over time, but that they are absolutely worth waiting for. Their time at the shelter is running out, and they desperately need someone to believe in them and give them another chance at a happy life.

Ideal Home

A patient and understanding home that can offer a quiet environment where Fred and Ned can slowly build trust. They have shown they do well sharing a kennel together and did well on a temporary test with another male dog, so a home with a calm, resident dog might be a good fit.

Fred and Ned are neutered males and are up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Fred and Ned are shy and fearful, so they will need time and patience to adjust to a new home. Positive reinforcement and a gentle approach will be key to helping them feel secure.
