Meet Bourbon!

Bourbon is a charming young pup born in May 2024. Like a fine bourbon, he might be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, his sweet and warm personality will blossom. He's still learning to trust and can be a bit nervous in new situations, but he finds great comfort in the company of other dogs and enjoys following their lead. Bourbon came to us with his mom and siblings after living outdoors, and he'll need a loving family committed to helping him adjust to life as a cherished pet. Beneath his cautious exterior is a wonderful boy who deserves a chance to feel safe, secure, and truly loved.

Ideal Home

Bourbon would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion who can help him build his confidence. He is a flight risk and needs a home committed to careful introductions, secure fencing, and extra precautions to keep him safe as he continues to gain confidence.

Ongoing Health

Bourbon is up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He will receive a health exam and certificate from a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption.

Training & Support

Bourbon is still building his confidence and will need continued patience, understanding, and guidance as he adjusts to his new life.

Transportation

Bourbon is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas, but is available for transport to an agreed-upon location.
