My name is Roscoe, and I'm still waiting for my forever family! I'm about 7 years old and have been in rescue for five years. I'm a calm, house-trained, and kennel-trained dog with wonderful manners. I know "sit," "down," and "shake," and I take treats gently. I'm happiest just being with my person. While I can be a little cautious meeting new people, I just need a little patience, and I'll reward you with loyalty, love, and friendship. I love car rides, walk beautifully on leash, and don't pay attention to distractions. My absolute favorite thing is water – I love hose play, kiddie pools, and swimming! I've done well with larger dogs after a proper introduction. I need a home without cats, and because young children make me nervous, I'd do best in a home with teens ages 16 and older. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I'm so ready to trade my kennel for a couch, a backyard, and a family to call my own.
