Wishbone is a black-and-white heartthrob with a show-stopping set of ears, a toy enthusiast, and a full-body, goofy wiggle machine! He's equal parts athlete and goofball, the kind of dog who can easily turn a boring day into a fun-filled adventure. Wishbone is bright, attentive, and so ready to learn that he seems like a dream for trainers. He's estimated to be just over a year old and appears to be a Pittie/American bully mix. He's the perfect size, built like a true athlete and full-grown at a weight that means he barely takes up a full cushion on the couch.
Wishbone loves zooming in the sunshine and then relaxing in the shade. He enjoys a chance to stretch his legs, but once he's had his burst of energy, he's happy to settle and hang out. He's confident, self-assured, and perfectly content entertaining himself with a toy, as long as the toy supply and snack budget are well-stocked. He's all in when it comes to toys! If you've ever dreamed of a running partner, a training buddy, or a future flyball all-star, Wishbone is ready to go.

Wishbone would thrive in a home that can give him space to move and play, along with the kind of leadership that helps him continue to grow. Ongoing Health
Wishbone is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Wishbone is smart, eager, and full of potential. He's learning the art of balance at home, and with continued guidance, routine, and outlets for both his brain and body, his "off-switch" will only get better. He does best with other dogs who enjoy a similar rough-and-rowdy play style and can match his enthusiasm.

Transportation
Wishbone is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
