This special guy may move a little slower than most, but he makes up for it with endless love, gentle companionship, and a heart full of affection. Despite his challenges, Benji still enjoys the simple things in life: relaxing outside, soaking up fresh air, and snuggling close with his people. He's dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, loving addition to their family. Benji is hoping to find a family that sees beyond his differences and gives him the cozy, caring retirement-style life he deserves.

Ideal Home

Benji needs a home that can accommodate his mobility limitations. He cannot do stairs and has difficulty walking due to painful hips, so a home without stairs would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Benji is missing one eye and has arthritis in his back legs. He is managed with daily medication for his hip pain.

Training & Support

Benji is fully house-trained and is making great progress with crate training. He's a dog-friendly and kid-friendly companion.
