Meet Onyx, a charming one-year-old, 40 lb bundle of joy who's ready to steal your heart! Onyx journeyed to Canada from Costa Rica and is now eagerly searching for her loving forever home. She's a happy, social girl with a wonderful temperament, balancing playful puppy energy with a desire to cuddle on the couch. Onyx is friendly, well-mannered, and a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and dogs. She's also very food-motivated, which will be a great asset for training!

Ideal Home

Onyx would thrive in a home with a young family, a couple, or a single person who can offer plenty of companionship, regular exercise, and affection. She loves being around her people and can become anxious and may chew on household items if left alone for extended periods.

Ongoing Health

Onyx is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up-to-date on flea and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Onyx is a highly intelligent dog who would benefit from continued basic training and positive reinforcement. Crate training is recommended for short periods of unsupervised time to prevent chewing.
