Selma

Selma is a gorgeous girl with the silliest ears and expressions! She's incredibly sweet and immediately ready to be your best friend. Selma thinks she's smaller than she is and truly wants to be a lap dog. She thrives off attention and pets, will lean into you for more, or climb into your lap. Selma is friendly and full of tail wags for new visitors to the shelter. She's a smart girl who already knows several commands (sit, down, shake, come) and walks nicely on a leash. Selma has nice manners when taking treats and is very gentle.

Ideal Home

Selma can be forward, pushy, and is a big fan of sniffing when introduced to dog friends. She is playful and friendly with dog buddies and was initially curious of cats, then ignored them. We do not know how she would do with children.

Ongoing Health

Selma is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, heartworm testing, and a free wellness exam.

Training & Support

Selma knows several commands including sit, down, shake, and come. She also walks nicely on a leash.

Selma is located at the Animal Protection League in Anderson, IN. We can arrange transport for approved adopters.
