Kai is a beautiful Black Mouth Cur x Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her ears! She's approximately 50 lbs and her estimated birthday is 11/20/24. Kai loves to run, play, and chase balls, making her the perfect companion for an active family ready for adventures. If you enjoy long walks on the beach, hikes, or car rides, Kai is your girl! She was rescued as a stray after being dumped in Houston, TX, but she's now ready to find her forever person and leave her past behind. Kai has plenty of puppy energy and a lot of love to share.

Ideal Home

Kai would likely do well in a home with another dog that matches her energy level, or as an only fur-child. She has met children between 7-10 years old and enjoyed playing fetch with them.

Ongoing Health

Kai is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Kai is kennel and potty trained. She is intelligent, athletic, and loving. Adopters are eligible for discounts on training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training.

Transporation

Kai is located in Houston, TX. Transportation is included in the adoption fee. Please note that pickup locations may vary and could be in nearby towns, counties, or states. We coordinate with transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for tracking updates.
