Nala is a sweet, gentle, 6-year-old Rottweiler mix who weighs around 46 pounds. She's an easygoing companion with wonderful manners and a heart full of love to give. Nala loves spending time with other dogs, showing a playful spirit that's balanced with a happy knack for relaxation. She's been friendly and respectful when meeting smaller dogs, showing a great understanding of social cues. Her leash manners are excellent, making every walk a pleasure. Nala is also fantastic with children, described as incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with kids of all ages. She's fully house-trained, crate-trained, and while she might express mild separation anxiety for a few minutes when first left alone, she quickly settles down and is expected to improve with a consistent routine. Nala is a smart cookie who knows several commands and is eager to please, making her a joy to live with. She loves playing with balls, enjoys car rides, navigates stairs with ease, and greets everyone with kindness.
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level where she can enjoy daily walks and plenty of time with her people. While she'd likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home, she doesn't require one.

Training & Support
Nala is house-trained and crate-trained. She may bark or cry for a few minutes when first crated or left alone, but she settles down quickly. Her foster expects this mild separation anxiety to continue improving as she becomes more comfortable in a consistent routine.
