This smart and spirited little cattle dog is ready to find her perfect match! Roo has all the incredible traits that make heelers so special – she's loyal, eager to be involved in everything you do, and always ready for the next adventure. She is estimated to be 4 months old and weighs 19lbs as of July 10th.
Ideal Home
Roo needs an active home that understands the physical and mental exercise this breed requires. She would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match her energy, as having a canine companion helps keep her engaged and gives her an outlet for play. An experienced cattle dog owner is required, and she will not do well in an apartment; a fenced yard is a must.
Ongoing Health
Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she isn't a fan of going into her crate initially, she settles down quickly and does well once she's inside. She's also not destructive, especially when her mind and body are kept busy.
Training & Support
An experienced cattle dog owner is required for Roo, and she is not a good fit for first-time dog owners. Someone committed to continuing her training and helping her reach her full potential will be essential.
