Hank

Hank is a 5-year-old Boxer/Lab mix with a heart of gold. He was rescued from a kill shelter by a head trainer at a prison program, who saw his potential and loving nature. Hank has been thriving in the program, learning housetraining, crate training, and basic obedience. He gets along well with the other dog at the program. Hank is described as a "good ol' boy" - laid-back and happy. He's about 55 pounds and would enjoy a fairly active life, though he's not overly high-energy.

Ideal Home

Hank would do well in a home that can provide him with a fairly active lifestyle. We are still learning about his compatibility with cats and children, as he has not been exposed to them in the prison program. We will find this out once he has completed his time there.

Ongoing Health

Hank is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered. His adoption fee is $350, which helps cover his medical preparation for adoption.

Training & Support

Hank has learned housetraining, crate training, and basic obedience. He gets along well with other dogs. We are still assessing his interactions with cats and children.
