Meet Max, a wonderful, goofy 4-year-old Pittie mix who is ready to be your one and only! Max is a survivor who has overcome life on the streets and is now looking for a loving forever home where he can relax and be the man of the house. His favorite things include face hugs, endless kisses, and all the pets – he will lean in for a snuggle whenever he gets the chance! Max adores children and shares his foster home with a one-year-old. He is incredibly food-motivated and very smart. When it's dinner time, he sprints to his kennel and actually bunny hops right into it, often drooling while he waits. Max is the ultimate "work-hard, play-hard" companion. He has wonderful spurts of high energy where he loves to play, but he’s also mastered the art of the "office assistant" – he is perfectly happy to chill and settle down during the day.

Max would thrive most as an only dog or in a home with a female companion, as he struggles to get along with his foster brother.
