Fred

Fred is a handsome boy with beautiful red fur! He was found as a stray, so he doesn't know how long he was on his own. Fred is a little anxious when you first meet him, but give him a few days to realize you're his forever human, and he'll start to relax. He's very friendly and will initially pace a bit until he feels safe and secure. Fred is an excellent listener and will come running when you call his name. He's quiet in his kennel and doesn't mind spending time there.

Ideal Home

Fred is looking for an active person or family who can help him burn off some of his puppy energy. He enjoys spending time in the backyard and will likely thrive in a home where he can run and play.

Ongoing Health

Fred is still working on potty training and does best with frequent potty breaks.

Training & Support

Fred's street manners are still a work in progress. He needs a patient adopter who can teach him how to be a well-behaved dog. He tends to search for and "snack" on food, so his food will need to be kept up. He's still learning leash manners but is eager to please. If he has a canine sibling, he'll need guidance on how to interact appropriately.
