Puka is a funny and playful adult dog who is a real gentle giant with lots of love to give. He's affectionate, friendly, and will be your very best friend. Puka is smart and curious, and loves to explore, so be prepared for lots of sniffing adventures! His history with other dogs is terrific; he's a friendly pup who is always up for a good time and would likely enjoy the company of other dogs, provided they are introduced properly. Ongoing Health

Puka's adoption fee covers his DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, as well as spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.

Training & Support

The rescue has spent countless hours with Puka, learning his quirks and personality. He has received behavior and medical care, including socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding. They are working on his leash training and basic commands. Families adopting Puka should understand that he is a rescue dog and will require continued training efforts and understanding to help him be his best self.

Transporation

Puka is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. He is transported to these locations via air-conditioned transport buses with dedicated staff. You will receive updates and photos of his journey through a private Facebook Event page. Your Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pickup location.
