Joey

Joey is our longest long-timer, a sweetheart who has been patiently waiting for his forever home for three years. He's spent almost two of those years in a wonderful foster home, but he truly dreams of a place to call his own. While Joey can be a bit shy initially, his true colors shine through once he feels comfortable. He blossoms into an incredibly loving, cuddly, and affectionate companion. Adventure is his middle name! Whether it's hitting the trails for a hike, exploring new neighborhoods on a walk, or enjoying a scenic car ride, Joey is always up for an outing. He's a playful soul who adores his toys and, if water is involved, you can bet he'll be enthusiastically splashing around! When it's time to relax, Joey loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch for some quality TV time with his favorite people.

Joey is a remarkably smart boy who takes corrections well and already knows commands like "sit," "shake," "down," and "stay." He's a dream to walk on a leash, making him an ideal walking buddy. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained. Joey is also independent and can be left to his own devices when you're away.
