Meet Dover, a playful pup with a heart full of love! This sweet 5-6 month old, 28-pound bundle of joy arrived at the shelter as a stray, looking for his second chance at happiness. Dover is ready to bring boundless energy and affection into his forever home.

Dover is a young, energetic dog who will thrive in an active home ready for puppy antics and training.

Ongoing Health

Dover received worming for roundworms and hookworms, a 5-way vaccination, and a rabies vaccination on 7/9/2026. He also received a flea and tick treatment on the same date. He has not yet been altered. A microchip was not found. We do not guarantee a dog's health. Please take your newly adopted dog to a veterinarian as soon as possible.

Training & Support

As a young dog, Dover will benefit from consistent training and socialization to help him grow into a well-behaved companion.

• The adoption fee is $50.00 cash. This fee includes a Rabies vaccination, 5 in 1 vaccination, worming for roundworms and hookworms, Capstar, flea and tick treatment, and a current Ohio dog license.

Transportation

Dover is currently located at the Pike County Dog Pound, 2575 Alma Omega Road, Waverly, Ohio. Private adopters can visit from 10 am-2 pm Monday through Friday, and Saturdays and Sundays by appointment. Transport may be available.
