Abby

Abby is a spirited young Doberman mix, just under a year old, who joined us in April. She had a brief stint in a home before her previous owner discovered a severe allergy. Abby is bursting with energy and eager to learn, but she'll need a committed owner to provide guidance and training. She's friendly with people, though her playful exuberance can be a bit much for very young children. Abby does coexist with a large male dog in her current kennel, but she doesn't meet other dogs well and would do best in a home without female or small dogs. An experienced owner is a must to help her navigate introductions in controlled settings, so she's not a candidate for boisterous dog parks.

Ideal Home

Abby would thrive in a home with an experienced owner who can provide consistent training and guidance. Due to her high energy and physical nature, homes with small children may be overwhelming for her. She may be able to live with a large, male dog, but no female dogs or small dogs. She is not a candidate for dog parks.

Abby is spayed and vaccinated.

Abby is still young and full of energy, requiring consistent training and guidance. She needs an experienced owner to help her learn how to properly interact with other dogs in controlled environments.
