Georgie Smiles has one of the best smiles in town, and it's absolutely contagious! This handsome 6.5-year-old, 45 lb pittie mix is the definition of happy. He's a people-loving, adventure-ready, super-smart, and loyal companion who's always up for anything. Georgie is a total social butterfly and thrives in social settings, whether it's greeting guests at parties or simply snuggling up on the couch. He's been great with older children, and we believe he'd do best in a home with older, sturdy kids who are comfortable with his enthusiastic greetings. Georgie is dog-friendly and takes new canine introductions with a relaxed, distinguished gentleman's demeanor. While he enjoys occasional playdates, his ultimate happiness comes from being your one and only fur baby to shower with love.
Ideal Home
A home with a backyard for zooming and sunbathing would be ideal. Georgie loves being the center of attention and would thrive in a home where his people enjoy hosting and having guests over. He also adores toys, so a good selection of playthings would be a huge plus!
Ongoing Health
Georgie is a healthy boy. All vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a spay/neuter, are up to date.
Training & Support
Georgie is a treat-motivated learner and already knows how to sit. He has excellent house manners, is crate trained, and potty trained. He's also learned how to run alongside a bike! He will thrive with an adopter who provides structure, leadership, and companionship.

Transporation
Georgie is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup points in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Transport is available for an additional fee. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
