Trooper

Hi there! I'm Trooper, a small, adorable 18-pound Cocker Spaniel. They just don't come any cuter than me! I'm a people-pleasing little man. I am a little older, at 8 years old, but I still have so many years of life to live and love to give! I love following my Hooman around, as well as interacting with my rescue buddies. I'm now doggy door trained and crate trained (I go in on my own!). I'm mostly blind, but I definitely seem to have a little vision in one eye, because I get around really well. Of course, it could be my other senses kicking in, as with all blind dogs. I come and go through the doggy door, go up and down steps, and love walking around the yard. I was surrendered to ODCSR after my owner passed away. She had actually found me on the streets a couple of years ago.

Ideal Home

Trooper would love a home where he can continue to follow his people around and interact with his doggy friends.

Ongoing Health

Trooper is mostly blind but navigates his environment well, likely using his other senses. He is current on vaccines, neutered, and tested negative for heartworm. He will be having a dental procedure soon.

Training & Support

Trooper is house-trained and crate-trained, and he uses a doggy door.
