Dallas is a charming and sweet American Bully who earned the nickname "Chunky Sugar Bear" from his foster family. He's full of the typical snorts and grunts of his breed and loves to be close to his people. Dallas is crate trained but thrives on routine for potty success, as he can be a bit unbothered by where he does his business. He's good with other large dogs and tends to ignore smaller dogs, preferring to focus on his toys.
Ideal Home
Dallas would do well in a home that understands the needs of bully breeds. Given his preference for large dog company, a home with other big dogs would be ideal. His foster family notes that he is unbothered by where he potties, so a home that can provide consistent routine and training for housebreaking will be key to his success.
Ongoing Health
Dallas is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines. He is heartworm negative and on prevention. While he's not currently on any special diets or requiring medication for his skin and allergies, breed experience is a plus as these can sometimes "pop up." He has required regular ear flushes due to infections and will need ongoing attention and ear cleanings due to his short, cropped ears.
Training & Support
Dallas is crate trained but needs a consistent routine to be successful with potty training, as he can be stubborn about where he goes. He is generally good with other large dogs and tolerates or ignores smaller dogs.
