Momma Lulu tested positive for Heartworm. The treatment process is generally three months and involves simple at-home steps. A follow-up test will be needed six months after treatment begins. The treatment is highly successful and she is anticipated to fully recover.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- All dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older).
- They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives.
- Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
