Arthur is a charming 5-year-old, 78-pound neutered Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix who is ready to fill your life with joy and affection. He was found as a stray and brought to a local shelter, but thankfully, a loving foster family opened their home to him. Now, Arthur is eager to find his forever family! He's described as a delightful blend of an adventurous spirit and a snuggle enthusiast, always ready for playtime or a good cuddle session.
Ideal Home
Arthur would thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise and structure. He enjoys being part of family activities and would be happiest with people who love including their dog in everyday adventures. While he doesn't require another dog in the home, he has interacted well with dogs of various sizes, demonstrating good social cues. He has also been curious around cats and pot-bellied pigs, showing no aggression, though supervised introductions are always recommended. Arthur has experience with young children and has done well, but due to his size and excitement, he could accidentally knock over a small child during play.

Training & Support
Arthur is fully house-trained and crate-trained, settling nicely in his crate for extended periods. He also rides beautifully in the car and absolutely loves car rides! While he may pull a bit on the leash initially, he quickly settles into a routine and walks well. He is also described as a dog who thinks "if he can fit, he can sit!"
