About Peanut

Peanut is a 6-month-old male German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees/Lab mix with a sweet personality that makes it nearly impossible not to fall in love with him. He was born as a stray with his siblings, but a Good Samaritan brought them to safety so they could grow up knowing comfort, care, and full bellies. Peanut can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but once he feels comfortable, his fun, affectionate personality really shines. His foster family says he is quite the little charmer – equal parts playful, loving, and full of personality. He absolutely loves his toys and can often be found happily entertaining himself, tossing them around or settling in for a good chew session. After he's gotten his playtime in, he's more than ready to trade the toys for some snuggles. Peanut does great with other dogs and truly thrives when he has a canine friend by his side. He is both potty trained and crate trained and has done wonderfully with his routines. He enjoys being around people and is ready to continue learning and growing with a patient family who will help him build confidence and show him just how wonderful life can be. If you're looking for a lovable pup with a gentle heart, a playful streak, and plenty of affection to give, Peanut might just be your perfect match.
