Charlie - Urgent Foster or Adopter

Charlie is a 3-year-old, approximately 60-pound dog who is housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She was born into rescue and raised with love by a foster family before being adopted with her sister. For nearly three years, Charlie lived in a loving home, but unfortunately, she developed sibling syndrome with her littermate. Despite extensive efforts, her family has made the difficult decision that Charlie needs a new home where she can truly thrive. She is not aggressive or a bad dog; she is losing her home due to circumstances beyond her control and deserves a stable, loving environment. Charlie is wonderful with people, including children, and while she can be shy when first meeting new people, she becomes incredibly loving once comfortable. She enjoys toys and bones and all the simple comforts of home.

Ideal Home

Charlie would be happiest as your one-and-only pet. If you have another dog, a meet-and-greet will be required to assess compatibility.

Ongoing Health

Charlie has food allergies that are managed with a special diet and Apoquel. Otherwise, she is healthy.

Charlie is housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is shy when first meeting new people but warms up quickly and becomes very loving.
