Triton

Triton found himself as a stray at Animal Services, and after being cleaned up by a rescue partner, he came to us to find his forever home. Triton's unique walk is due to a birth defect where both of his femurs are curved, causing his knees to turn outward. While he gets around well and walks on his feet, this has led to arthritis in his knees, for which he is on daily anti-inflammatories. He may need a wheelchair down the road, but for now, he is quite mobile and enjoys belly rubs more than long walks. Triton is a mellow dog with occasional bursts of playfulness and absolutely loves dinnertime. He enjoys chew toys but has a tendency to eat stuffed ones, so he'll need to be kept away from squeaky toys.

Training & Support

Triton loves to play with toys but also likes to eat them, so he cannot have any stuffed toys. He enjoys chew bones.
