Maximilian Sunflower with Maximum Fluff

Prepare yourself for an overwhelming amount of fluff! Maximilian doesn't even look real. He looks like a cross between a teddy bear and a baby polar bear, and he's impossibly cute. This fluffy boy, approximately 2 months old and around 10 lbs, is a potential Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix who is sure to steal your heart. He's playful without being over-the-top, incredibly sweet, loves toys, and is already showing us what a cuddly little guy he is. Maximilian is currently thriving in a foster home, learning about the world through play, naps, and gentle socialization.

Ideal Home

Maximilian would thrive in a home that is ready for all the joys and responsibilities of puppyhood. He'll need continued socialization, training, structure, and consistency to help him grow into a well-rounded adult dog.

Ongoing Health

Maximilian has received all his vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Like all young puppies, Maximilian will need continued socialization and training. We require adopters to begin crate training as soon as their puppy arrives home to aid in potty training, learning independence, managing energy, and building healthy lifelong habits.

Transporation

Maximilian is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
